One of which is the superhero "Vinayak Damodar Savarkar". The reason for not getting respect for such great heroes is the historian and political advantages of that time. Those whose politics rests in the partition of India are at risk from Veer Savarkar because Veer Savarkar's thoughts are of Akhand Bharat. In such a situation, politicians with the principle of 'divide and do politics' are afraid of Savarkar's ideology because if Savarkar's ideology is revealed in the public, then his political future will go into darkness.
After independence, there has been a campaign to demean Veer Savarkar. It is a matter of great sadness that in this country the Left tried to humiliate Veer Savarkar and somewhere rumors were spread like Veer Savarkar apologized to the British? But the truth is that Gandhiji suggested Veer Savarkar to apologize to the British! Gandhiji had agreed to the issue of Veer Savarkar's petition. In 1921, talks were held betweenGandhiji and Dr. Narayandas Savarkar through a letter on the subject of Veer Savarkar's petition. Gandhiji said that when Brahmanand can be released on the basis of petition, then why can't Veer Savarkar be released.
Former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji was influenced by Savarkar's thoughts. They believe that when Savarkar was serving the sentence of black water, Veer Savarkar used to talk to the moon from the jail on the seashore. Former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayeeji said, “Savarkar means sharpness, Savarkar means sacrifice, Savarkar means tenacity, Savarkar means element, Savarkar means logic, Savarkar means tarunya, Savarkar means arrow, Savarkar means sword.”
